At the National Student Safety Summit, you will learn about the latest initiatives, programs and best practices for school safety planning, prevention, preparation, healing and recovery. The latest insights will be given into recent case studies of school shootings and joint law enforcement and school preparation drills.

Great emphasis will be placed on the need for schools and law enforcement/emergency personnel, first responders, trendsetters, teachers, administrators and curriculum developers to develop a proactive working relationship to mitigate threats in schools. This relationship will be discussed, debated and presented on by speakers and attendees throughout the summit. You will leave the convention with actionable information, models and tools to use at your school, affiliated school district, agency and community. You will take with you administrative tools, educational and training content for staff, parents and students, as well as information to assist your school in complying with federal standards.
