At the end of Day 1, participants will be able to:
• Describe the scope and role of HRM.
• Recognize the main HR functions and their relevance to daily work.
• Apply basic knowledge of HR policies and employment law in simple workplace situations.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding exercises with awareness of do’s and don’ts.
Day 2 Objectives
At the end of Day 2, participants will be able to:
• Explain the importance of training and development, and outline a simple TNA.
• Demonstrate understanding of performance management tools such as KPI, feedback, STAR, and BARS.
• Identify key elements of payroll and benefits, and detect common errors.
• Practice handling basic employee relations issues and apply conflict resolution techniques.
• Prepare a personal action plan for applying HR knowledge at work.
New employees & lower-level staff, plus newly assigned higher-position staff taking over HR
responsibilities
