Objective

• To explain the fundamental principles, concepts, and institutional framework of land governance and land administration in Malaysia.
• To interpret the legal and regulatory frameworks governing land in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak, including the National Land Code 1965, Sabah Land Ordinance (Cap. 68), and Sarawak Land Code (Cap. 81).
• To differentiate the various land tenure systems, land ownership rights, registration processes, and legal interests in land within the Malaysian context.
• To apply principles of good governance, transparency, accountability, and ethical practices in land administration and decision-making.
• To analyse land administration processes, including land alienation, subdivision, conversion, land acquisition, and dispute resolution, in accordance with applicable laws and policies.
• Demonstrate an understanding of land management principles, land use planning, sustainable development, and environmental considerations in managing land resources.
• Evaluate contemporary issues and emerging trends in land governance and management, including digital land administration, climate resilience, environmental sustainability, and Native Customary Rights (NCR).
• To apply knowledge and practical skills to analyse and resolve land governance, land law, and land management issues through case studies and real-world scenarios in the Malaysian context.

Certification

Participants will be awarded CERTIFICATE IN LAND GOVERNANCE, LAND LAW AND MANAGEMENT by INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS EXCELLENCE , UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA ( UiTM) upon completion of both modules and passing the assessment test.
