• To identify and eliminate process waste using Lean concepts such as the 8 Wastes, Gemba, and Value Stream Mapping.
• To analyse and optimise business processes to improve flow, reduce lead time, minimise bottlenecks, and increase productivity.
• To apply Lean tools and techniques including 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban, and Daily Management Systems.
• To develop structured problem-solving capabilities using PDCA, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and Pareto Analysis.
• To plan and lead Kaizen and Continuous Improvement initiatives that deliver measurable and sustainable results.
• To use data and performance indicators effectively to identify improvement opportunities, monitor results, and support fact-based decision-making.
• To lead Lean improvement projects and change initiatives by effectively managing scope, stakeholders, resources, risks, and expected benefits.
• To develop Lean leadership and coaching capabilities to engage employees, build problem-solving skills, and establish a culture of continuous improvement.
• To develop and implement a Lean transformation roadmap that aligns Continuous Improvement initiatives with organisational strategy and long-term operational excellence.

Certification

Certification will be awarded by INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS EXCELLENCE , UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA ( UiTM) upon completion of 2 Modules and participants must obtain a grade of at least PASS in all modules to qualify for the full certification
